Whatever. The crime commited was the media paid attention and treated it like a 9-year-old was abducted by some psycho sexual pervert. Make the stupid cable news channels pay for it, since they're the ones who made such a big deal about it. The woman didn't ask to be searched for or have heaps of media attention piled upon her. Lots of folks run away from their weddings, announced or otherwise. What makes her special? I don't know, either, but damn if the cable news channels know, too. Also, I've had my car dented in the parking lot by ijits. Shit happens. I'm happy that a good samaritan was looking out for your friend. Some of us aren't that lucky but lets all hope that that 19-year-old girl thinks twice about the next time she attempts a hit and run: the next victim might not be so forgiving. Eh? Whatever.
