I am not familiar enough with Oregon politics yet to know what idiocy the pols here are up to, but I'll bet there is something. Though I will admit it is hard to top Arnie (or W). You might enjoy reading some of Mark Twain's comments on politics, politicians, and their constituencies. And don't you have that Ambrose Bierce book "The Devil's Dictionary"?
