some linkage

May 18, 2005 by Saar Drimer

I’m a little dry on witty things to write about so I’ll give you the week’s linkage highlights.

StoreWars – For all you StarWars geeks (relax, I used to be one too; but then I grew up,) you might find this funny and it is really well done.

not pr0n – An online game of wits (or, “The hardest riddle available on the internet.”) Try it, you might get addicted (or even spooked, like N.D. :)) I am on level 13 and -2; yes, you can play it backwards too! I’ll let you figure out how. If you need help, just ask; N.D. is ahead of me and far more addicted, so he might chime in.

Ninja’s RealUltimatePower – This one cracked me up! I was crying. Always remember the following or I’ll get “really super pissed”:

  1. Ninjas are mammals.
  2. Ninjas fight ALL the time.
  3. The purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people

BugMeNot – This clever site will give you a username and password to all those webpages that require free registrations (like the notorious New-York Times.) Also available is a firefox extension that will do it automatically with one click. Great stuff.

  1. N.D. :-) says:

This is such a spooky game, feels like it is taken from some David Lynch film. Man it gives me the shivers…

  2. StoreWars is very funny – thanks Saar – some friends who love Veggie Tales were in stitches at work today… Oh and thanks for derailing our productivity at work – or maybe not – a lot of people were humming the Star Wars refrains well before I showed them the clip.

  3. Nir Dahan says:

Store Wars was funny. complete nonsense regarding the content – Organic is NOT better than normal food. These “green movement” claims based on setting fear in the mind of potential buyers always annoy me, but I am off topic. It was funny.
